FOSTERING EDUCATION YOUTH COUNCIL WHAT IS THE FOSTERING EDUCATION YOUTH COUNCIL (FEYC)? The Fostering Education Youth Council is a forum for foster youth to empower one another in solving their own unique issues. The Council will focus on providing guidance to the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) on how to increase the academic achievement of foster youth, as well as provide leadership opportunities that prepare foster youth to serve their schools and communities. THE GOALS AND DUTIES OF THE COUNCIL ARE TO: Provide a forum for the many voices of foster youth Involve foster youth in the LAUSD decision-making process Inform and educate schools, caregivers, and stakeholders on the unique issues that foster youth face Attend meetings and provide positive leadership

FOSTERING EDUCATION YOUTH COUNCIL WHAT ARE THE ELIGILBITY REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS?
