Purpose Is there a need to change our schools or the way we run things? Are our students disengaged? Relevance between school and the real world? Do we understand our students’ worlds? What do they see is important And why? What is the purposeful engagement? Their trials and tribulations

Why change? Authentic connections Engage them in creating, building and sustaining their community Empower them with applicable tools/ strategies Create and build confident and balanced people

How? Establish the mission and vision of the school, revisit it every 3 years Acknowledge the context of the environment Know the client – student and parents Build psychological safety amongst the students, staff, parents to create room for experimentation
