System Software Application Software Helps run the computer and coordinates instructions between application software and the computer’s hardware devices. This includes the operating system and utility programs. Application Software What you use to do tasks at home, school, and work. You can do a multitude of things with application software, such as: Writing letters Sending e-mail Balancing a budget Creating a presentations Editing photos Taking an online course
