Writing a Full Sentence A Resource by Mr Mark – September 2008

A full sentence is where the question is written as part of answer A full sentence is where the question is written as part of answer. When answering questions on a reading text, all MUST be written as Full Sentences. Question: When do we have the Junior Assembly? Answer: We have the Junior Assembly on Thursdays. Question: Why do we go to school? Answer: We go to school to learn new things. When writing a full sentence answer, read the question carefully and select the word(s) from the question to begin your full sentence answer.

Question: When is Mr Mark’s birthday? Answer: Mr Mark’s birthday is on the 3rd September. Question: Who is the teacher of J3B? Answer: The teacher of J3B is Mr Matt. Question: When is the class spelling test? Answer: The class spelling test is on Thursday. When writing a full sentence answer, read the question carefully and select the word(s) from the question to begin your full sentence answer.

Question: Who is the Principal of FPA? Answer: The principal of FPA is Ms Jan. Question: What happens at 1.20pm each day? Answer: We have a quick break at 1.20pm each day.
