Presenting the projects Take 10 minutes in your group to decide who is going to present each part of your project (the various components of the image) Each person needs to talk equally as the presentation is a portion of your grade! Make sure you address why you chose the images you chose, as well as what they represent from the text and how they display themes, symbols, tones, moods, or characters from the text.

You have 4 minutes MAXIMUM to present – The class will then have 1 minute to ask any questions Be as concise and meaningful as possible!

American Literature We have talked about how American Literature often deals with the dark underbelly of humanity. Make a list of the qualities/characteristics of people that you text deals with. Once you’ve created your list, come up with an opposite quality/characteristic from each one that you came up with. Then, create a line with the original characteristic on the left, and the opposite characteristic on the right. Place each character from the text on the line where you feel they fit with the characteristic. Use textual evidence to provide reasoning for your placement. Let’s do one together (The Great Gatsby):
