What is Hospital Furniture?

Hospital furniture is designed to satisfy patients’ needs and doctor’s requirements. They provide utmost comfort for patients and visitors. They are designed as per medical standards set by the government. Hospital furniture is also used for storing medical equipment. What is Hospital Furniture?

Baby Cribs & Bassinets Hospital Beds Bedside Lockers Bedside Tables Bedside Screens

Baby Cribs and Bassinets Baby cribs play an integral role in the pediatric ward. They are made up of aluminum or stainless steel. They are designed with utmost caution and satisfy all safety requirements. Some baby cribs come with adjustable heights and oscillating baskets.

Hospital beds come with electronically adjustable mattress. These beds can be raised or lowered at the head or feet. They come with provisions to attach medical equipment. Hospital beds come with side rails which can be raised or lowered. Side rails prevent the patient from falling off the bed. They come with a bed exit alarm which activates if the patient leaves the bed. Some beds are designed to treat specific injuries.

Bedside Lockers Bedside lockers come with attached shelves and drawers for added storage space. Some bedside lockers come with an attached over bed table.

Bedside Screens Bedside screens provide added privacy to patients during medical procedures. They can also be used as make shift partitions.

Bedside Tables Bedside tables are made of high quality steel which is highly durable. They come with a knob or a geared handle which is used to adjust the height.

Examination Couch An examination couch helps doctors examine the patient.
