At Elon Park Elementary, the school community will support the commitment to the following: Providing every student with rigorous, engaging and balanced instruction. Basing all decisions on student strengths and needs according to all available data. Appropriate, effective collaboration among staff, families and community members for the benefit of each student. Meet Your Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) What is ILT? A “train the trainer” model. A group that collaborates to lead Elon Park toward continuous improvement What does ILT do? Attends bi-monthly meetings to receive PD Synthesizes information and provides selected PD to EP Staff. Secret Envelope #2 Each table group of 4-5 people has an envelope Person 1: Take the envelope and select ONE card Read the card aloud Answer the question and practice a mini “academic conversation” using elaboration & clarification language frames (Group members should practice prompting and responding.) Pass the envelope to the next person and repeat the process until time is called
