Pathway to Partnership GPSC Summit Tuesday, June 20th, 2017

Project Background Grew organically out of local CYMHSU work Collaborative between local First Nations and health authority clinicians Relationship building through our meetings Culturally sensitive elements introduced: Prayers to open and close gathering Outcome narrative format to allow for unexpected elements Sharing of food, diverse meeting locations Inclusive working group membership

Project culmination needs Developed work to a stage where you needed to hand off, grow and sustain the project Document the work that had been done and serve as a communication tool Legacy to preserve and spread the relationship building “Light” in terms of project team resources (drew on communication resources) Culturally accessible Developmental Evaluation approach Reflective of the strength of narratives: MSC, photovoice, case studies Culturally accessible Approach to capture ‘intangible’ relationship outcomes Focused on the appropriate level of impact Collaborative and culminative method to empower, spread
