Thursday 9/28: September Oral Presentation Due/ Spelling Test Friday 9/29: SCAAP (Dress Down Day) All students may dress down!!! Important Information: There will be a Spelling Test next Thursday! List #1- students should know how to spell the words using lower case letters the correct size. For example a lower case t should be taller than the i and a p should sit on the line p . You will find their pretest in today’s packet. Please note there are sentences on the back that are part of the test. They must have a capital letter and a period to be correct. We are working on Work on Writing in our Daily 5 Literacy block. Students have been trying to write for at least ten minutes without stopping. I am also stressing spacing words when writing. I sent out an e-mail confirming Volunteers for the classroom. If for any reason you did not receive an e-mail and would like to volunteer please let me know We will be doing random uniform checks! Please help us out by making sure that your child is following the dress code from the SPX handbook. SeeSaw! This week the kids re-recorded the paper about their favorite color and took a picture of Thursday’s math lesson. If you signed up with SeeSaw you should have been notified. If you did not sign up you still can! Let me know if you need another copy on “how to”! COSI On Wheels, “Astounding Astronomy” will be visiting our school on Tuesday. We will start with a presentation to teach them about Astronomy and then students will get to visit 8 stations. At these stations they will work on Science processing skills and interact in fun experiments.
