Test beam organization, schedule, requirements and installation This is no talk rather a questionnaire! Installation to T9 Preliminary schedule What do we need? When are cassettes moved to CERN? When R/O rack and cables? (at FNAL??) will be transported to CERN Wolfgang Klempt/ CERN Towards an HCAL Tungsten Prototype Workshop, Hamburg 2 March 2010

East-Hall/ T9 Layout External gas boot Cables Length 35-40m To be installed Gas mixing racks Gas pipes Length 10-15m To be installed Length’s to be confirmed!

Preliminary PS/SPS Schedule we run 8/11 to 22/11 xxxxxxxxxxxxx Proto type including W plates, cassettes, scintillators and telescope will be assembled in one piece. It will be craned into the T9 area the 8 Nov and aligned. What about R/O rack(s)?? Shall we test the total system in the lab in October?

No guarantee that access to T9 area will stay! 29 Apr 16 Aug 16 Sep Main work finished ?? No guarantee that access to T9 area will stay!

I need to know : basically today but latest 15 March Production drawings of cassettes and their fixation in CALICE setup. Complete list of items (with size) we need in T9 area. Confirmation of gas mixture gas for Micromegas. (flammable gas to be avoided if possible) Complete inventory and definition of all cables that we need. (incl. cable types, connectors, where to get it from etc) Complete inventory and definition of all pipes that are needed if any. (Stainless steel pipes and bellows for Micromegas if used with flammable gas) Needs for cooling (if any)
