Performance PlusTM Hardwood Glue Down Installation Use Armstrong ProConnect Premium Flooring Adhesive Or Armstrong 57 Premium Urethane adhesive A ¼” expansion space required for Glue Down Installation Installation will begin at the left wall with your tongue facing the wall or starter row When installing engage the side joint first Slide to your left then engage your end joint Do not slide the hardwood in the adhesive During the installation occasionally remove a piece of flooring and inspect for proper adhesive transfer Clean adhesive from the flooring frequently using Low Oder Mineral Spirits Stagger end joints approximately 6 inches Avoid installing on the surface of the flooring To eliminate minor shifting or gapping during the installation use 3M 2080 blue tape Do not let tape on the surface for more that 24 hours Do not let adhesive residue on the surface for more than 24 hours Avoid heavy foot traffic for 24 hours

Performance PlusTM Hardwood Staple Down Installation Use only Bostich Model 2025K fastening machine A ¼” expansion space required for Staple Down Installation Installation will begin at the left wall with your tongue facing the wall When installing engage the side joint first Slide to your left then engage your end joint Use 1” 20 gauge staples Before the installation make sure your air compressor is set properly, staples should be engaged just below the surface of the GROOVE Staple 1” to 2” from the ends and then every 3” to 4” Stagger end joints approximately 6 inches Avoid using any other fastening machines staples they will not engage properly Wall to wall installation only A Brad nailer may be used to blind nail the first row
