Team Challenges & Tips
Team Challenges & Tips When you get your team together, you will have to handle challenges right then and there. Types of Situations & Tips: You experience difficulty starting a discussion: Ask a challenging question to the group and wait for answers Ask for their opinions The attention of your team begins to wander Change the topic of conversation Vary your tone of voice or clap your hands to draw attention When other individuals dominate the meeting Ask for their cooperation (politely or in private) Ask others for opinions or comments
Team Challenges Tips When associates will not talk Build their confidence by recognizing them on an achievement and ask them to share Assign tasks When discussion drifts to other topics or small groups begin speaking amongst themselves Summarize what’s been discussed, before moving onto the next topic Ask direct questions to the ones causing disturbance
