Chapter 1 KX-HTS Programming
11. Assign Network Address of SIP Phone. Network address has to be assigned in Easy setup or Full programming mode. Internet LAN: 192.168.22.xxx WAN of KX-HTS 192.168.22.99 KX-HTS 5

13. Disable Firewall. Firewall has to be disabled for KX-HDV with provisioning. When Firewall is enabled, HDV can not get time Information from HTS. Internet LAN: 192.168.22.xxx WAN of KX-HTS 192.168.22.99 KX-HTS 7
14. Assign SIP for extension. 114 is for KX-HDV and 115 is for KX-NTV for example. SIP Password has to be programmed. 8
15. Assign “Local”. Not “Remote” “Local” has to be assigned because not through internet. 9
16. Enable “Video Support”. Video has to be enabled if extension is KX-NTV, HDV430 or Bria. 10
17. Conditions All video terminals (KX-NTV, HDV430 or Bria) have to be installed to LAN of existing router only. Or all video terminals have to be installed to LAN o KX-HTS only, even if KX-HTS is connected to existing router. “Remote” has to be enabled for mixture (Both LAN of existing router and LAN of KX-HTS). When both “Local” and “Video” are assigned for both caller extension and called extension, KX-HTS applies P2P for both video and voice. 18. Remove the KX-HDV data from KX-HTS. If the KX-HDV was registered to other extension (102 for example), change port attribution of the extension from SIP to Analog SLT in order to remove SIP registration. Otherwise the KX-HDV cannot be used for chapter 2 and 3. KX-HDV phone also has to be initialized before registering. 12

Chapter 3 KX-HDV with Provisioning
30. Overview of procedure Step1: check HTS configuration Check if following configuration are done. - Slide 11 (or 12) Assign Network Address of SIP Phone and, - Slide 13. Disable Firewall. Step2: Connect HDV to LAN of HTS and initialize Complete HDV provisioning at HTS LAN side. Step3: Change IP Addr and GW setting of HDV then move to HTS WAN Set following two parameters as static manually, - IP address: new address in LAN of the existing router - Default Gateway: IP address of HTS WAN port then connect to HTS WAN (LAN of the existing router) 17
31. Connect KX-HDV to LAN of KX-HTS at first. Step1 must complete. Then complete Step2 (this page). Frequency of dial tone and so on are customized automatically for your market. 32. Connect the KX-HDV to LAN of existing router. Step3: Change IP Addr and GW setting of HDV then move to HTS WAN IP address of the KX-HDV has to be static (Not DHCP client). Default GW of the KX-HDV has to be WAN address of KX-HTS. For example, IP address : 192.168.22.33 Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway : 192.168.22.99 These can be set without PC.
