Promoting Equality and Diversity Promoting British Values Values are principles or standards of behaviour; one’s judgement of what is important in life.

British Values – Democracy Democracy means “Rule by the people” We vote for Members of Parliament ( MPs)and Councillors to represent us We can make our voice heard and can make a change through voting
British Values – Democracy - BAES We choose our class representative at Learner Forums We say what we think in the Learner Satisfaction Survey and our views are listened to and improve practice We debate and discuss relevant issues and topics openly and safely
British Values – Rule of Law No one is above the law Laws protect everyone Laws are fair and clear Innocent until proved guilty
