Chapter 1 Benefits of Health Objective: SWBAT: evaluate types of physical activity and how they promote health and disease prevention by creating a benefits of exercise poster.

Bellwork: Use the back side of the half sheet from yesterday to answer the bellwork. List all of the activities you do in a single day that you enjoy. Then underline which of these activities can be considered physical activity.

Benefits of Exercise Poster Using a piece of paper provided, create a poster for a benefit of exercise of your choice. On the front you will have the benefit listed and draw a neat and colorful graphic to represent the benefit. On the back of the poster you will write a paragraph including 3 examples of how to achieve this benefit or how to achieve this benefit in your own life. Also write how your family and how your peers influence your physical activity. 6-8 total sentences. Remember to think critically. No generic answers.
