Review of Affirmative/Positive Commands: They tell someone what to do. Used with a person you would speak to using the Tú form. *The (+) command form of the verb is created by: Using the él/ella form of the verb. (tú form minus s) Ex. Hablar Hablas¡Habla! = speak/talk!

Negative Informal Commands: Tells someone what NOT to do. Used with people you refer to as Tú. *To form the negative (-) command of AR verbs: Drop the o from the yo form and add es. Add NO before the verb. Ex. (yo) fumo ¡no fumes! = Don’t smoke!
Make these into (-) commands: Don’t cut (cortar) Don’t clean (limpiar) Don’t prepare (preparar) Don’t decorate (decorar) No cortes No limpies No prepares No decores

Direct Object & Reflexive Pronoun Placement: Direct Object Pronouns (me, te, lo, la, nos, los, las) and Reflexive Pronouns (me, te, se, nos, os, se) are placed: Attached to the end of affirmative (+) commands Ex. Levántate or Cómelo Between No and the verb for negative (-) commands. Ex. No te levantes or No lo comas
