The all important question

What will the food be like?

What will the food be like? Breakfast, lunch & dinner are all created around food that children love to eat – but with health & nutrition foremost in mind. The menus have recently been updated to exceed Government regulations and vary from day to day according to season and the individual centre. Communal dining room where there is always a choice of hot & cold dishes, vegetarian selections and fresh salad bars. Catering for children with special religious or dietary needs

SAMPLE MENU Breakfast Lunch Dinner A choice of cereals or a cooked breakfast Lunch Baguette & Wrap Bar with your choice of freshly prepared fillings; Tuna mayo; Tandoori chicken; Mature Cheddar cheese; Cajun roasted red onion & peppers Fish Fingers with curly fries and coleslaw Salad bar Dinner Pea & mint soup Slow Roasted Beef & Vegetable Casserole, served with herby rice Vegetable & bean casserole served with herby rice (v) Ham & Cheese Pizzas Roasted new potatoes All come with a choice of salad or buttered peas and carrots Rice Pudding & Berry compote

WHAT TO PACK Clothing and shoes worn outside during activities will inevitably get dirty – so old clothes are best! Name all items of clothing – and provide your child with a packing list, so that he/she can check items back into their bag. At least 2 pairs of shoes – clean and dirty pair Plastic bags for wet/dirty clothes Swimming kit Waterproofs 2 towels Water bottle Sleeping aids if needed! NO VALUABLES NO AEROSOLS See packing list
