Pre-K is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Your involvement, interest, and enthusiasm will help make this a wonderful year of growth for you and your child. Thus far, we have been working on independence, classroom procedures, and using our words. The skills we practice daily in Pre-K are the building blocks for your child’s future success in school and in life! We will be working on classroom rules and routines as well as how the classroom works. The first unit we will be working on is called ALL ABOUT ME. The topic is a great start for the children to get to know each other. In class we will be doing different activities involving their names, family, their favorite color, birthday, and what they like best about themselves.
