14 February: Today, you will… CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.11-12.4 Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience by writing a picture book and including illustrations.

Writing & Illustrating a Picture Book Use the APP Book Creator in order to write a picture book. Your book should be 10-15 pages in length, not counting the title page. It should include illustrations, colorful and neat, on each page. Your language should be picturesque – imaginative – original – fresh! 3+ literary devices Your story should have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Correct conventions are a must. PEER REVISION: Share your rough draft via notability with someone by the end of the day. That person is then to read it and offer suggestions as to how to improve it, as well as make notes on what you have done well. He or she will then visit with you and share back.
