Formatting Your Poems for Publication

Before you start typing!!!!! Give your poetry anthology a title! Click on “Untitled Document” on the top left side of the doc It will highlight the text for you. Type - “Poetry Anthology - Your Name”

Center align ALL of your work! Click on the Center Align Button on the toolbar.

Title Page Your title page should include: A Title Your Name The Date

Start a NEW page Make sure the cursor is under the date After typing the date hit “Enter” To start a new page: On the toolbar, click on “Insert” Under “Insert”, click on “Page Break” This will create a new page

Start typing your poems Make sure that you are still Center Aligned. Type the title of your poem Hit Enter In a smaller font tell me the type of poem Hit Enter - 2 times Begin typing you poem

New Poem, New Page At the end of your poem, hit “Enter” Create a new page like before.

New Poem, New Page On the new page, type your poem just like before. Repeat this process for all of your poems.

Share your work with your teacher Click on the share button on the top right side. Type in my email. If you don’t see my picture, then you typed it wrong! Make sure I can edit Click “Send”
