Senior Project MEDIA ASSIGNMENT part 2

Media – Part 2 Decide what movie making software you will use MovieMaker, iMovie, etc. Compile your pictures, songs and videos into 1 file using that software Add a folder to your Dropbox Sr. Project folder Title: Media Part 2 Save the finalized/published movie to this folder Your teacher will tell you to the folder OR view in class

Part 2 requirements Media is uploaded into movie making software MovieMaker OR iMovie Do NOT use any other software program without teacher approval All 75+ pictures, 3 songs and video clip are included Movie is finalized/published & shared with teacher

Create a Media Library for your Sr. Project 1. Decide what movie making software to use Microsoft MovieMaker – FREE download (linked on class website) iMovie – Apple products only 2. Compile your pictures, songs and videos into 1 file using that software The order of the photos/videos is not important – add all 75 photos Where you insert the music is not important – add all 3 songs Insert at least one video clip 3. Finalize/publish your movie (if you have technology issues, see website for help)

Create a Media Library for your Sr. Project 4. Save this movie file in your Dropbox folder in a new subfolder Title: Media Library 5. Your teacher will tell you to either this new Dropbox folder or the teacher will view the folder in class

Note: Order of items does not matter You can go back later (before the final due date) to rearrange these items Use the information on the class website if you are having problems with technology

One last note about This is important for MovieMaker Projects You will SAVE your MovieMaker Project while you are working on it. BUT, you must also PUBLISH the Project when you are done in order to finalize the file and share it. If you do NOT PUBLISH the Project, we will not be able to open it. When you finish working on a project, you can publish the project as a movie. A movie is a Windows Media file with a .wmv file name extension OR an Audio-Video Interleaved (AVI) file with an .avi file name extension
