QI Project on Pap Completion Rates Goal: Provide care for all in accordance with U.S. Public Health Service guidelines Overview of the HIV/AIDS Bureau efforts Quality Mandate in the Ryan White Programs PAP initiative as pilot US PHS guidelines as care standards Review of HAB Data on Paps Improving data quality and performance Application of these strategies to other program areas

Call to ACTION Moving from Data ==>> Action ==>> IMPROVEMENT!! Find out what YOUR program’s Pap data is? What does it say about your program? Does it accurately reflect how well your program cares for women? Are you proud of your data? Would you share it widely? If the answers are “yes”, teach others and share your good work. If the answers are “no”, how will you determine if it is the quality of the data or the care or the system that needs improvement. Who will you engage to help figure this out? Consumers? How would you move from data to action and improvement? What is your first test of change to seek improvement??
