Parental Advisory Committee County Meeting dates: 9/13: 9am 11/15: 5pm 2/9: 5pm 4/20: 9am LCES meeting dates: 8/18: 11:30am, 8/19: 2pm, or 8/23: 6pm 9/29: 6pm or 9/30: 2pm 10/04 6pm 11/15: 6pm or 11/17: 11:30am 01/12: 6pm 4/13: 11:30am or 4/20 6pm 5/12: 2pm Parent Volunteers who will represent LCES parents and attend county Parent Advisory Committee Meetings and our school Parental Involvement and/or Title 1 meetings.

Suggestions from 8/18 meeting Parent/Child reading station at school events (set up with books coordinated to event) Saturday Event: Going Green - Environmental (spring) Each hall with environmental topic (recycling, plant growth, etc.) Pages created from each hall to combine for “LCES school book” about topic School play Scavenger Hunt with math included Parent/student “Olympic” competition

Suggestions from 8/18 meeting con. Art club/class with parent student paint project together Talent show Teacher Student Student Packet for Christmas & Summer break (1 page front and back for each week with all subjects) Required upon return with parent and student signatures Prizes for completion (toys donated by parents, gator tickets)
