1. Supplies EVERYDAY you should have: Book Checks performed randomly. Cuaderno Book Writing utensil Pasaporte New 1-2 students will receive books later this week. Book Checks performed randomly. Notebook checks at the end of every chapter. Covering your book decreases the chance that you’ll have to pay for damages at the end of the year!

2. Participation Points Done on a weekly basis Kept on clipboard Each week worth 20 points, but you only get 15 for living and breathing (being here and on time) Gain points for participation. I try to “spread the love” Loss of points for: Being tardy, off task, disruptive, caught with cell phone, unverified absence, being sent out of class.

3. Rules refresher 1. Be here be on time. 2. Be prepared Notebook 10 day absence policy Building tardy policy (and followed) –detention at 3 and 5 tardies, referral at 7 and beyond. Work done in class 2. Be prepared Notebook Textbook Writing utensil Pasaporte

3. Rules refresher 3. Be respectful 4. Be teachable Do what is asked of you Treat room with respect Treat others with respect Follow classroom procedures 4. Be teachable Get sleep Be ready to learn Eat breakfast Leave baggage out of class

4. The Nitty Gritty No cell phones, IPOD’s, other “illegal electronic devices”-if they are seen or heard-they will be confiscated. Water bottles need to be kept in bags. No hats/coats/other inappropriate clothing. Offensive language is not tolerated (consequence- 10 of something)

4. More Nitty Gritty Flashcards of vocab may be done for extra credit, but only if all other assignments are in. Get notecards from cupboard and rubber bands up front. May also bring in CD’s for EC. Hand in work in basket. Late work accepted, but with penalty.

5. Pasaporte Staple into agenda 4 passes per quarter If you lose it, come in before or after school to “earn” a new one. Must have both pasaporte and YOUR agenda to use RR, locker, or get drink.

6. Goals (sheet of paper) One short-term, one long-term, dealing with Spanish (doesn’t necessarily have to be this class) Make it a point to start second semester off right! (Seniors)

7. Info Sheet Use other half sheet for this. See screen for info. Turn both goals and info sheet in up front to Ms. Mohr.

8. Parent Letter Take home to adult at home, have them read and sign. Due by Friday for 10 points.

9. Wiki Space http://mohrspanish.wikispaces.com/ No login/password required. Copy this address into the inside of your notebook or agenda. Check this if you are absent and need to get missing assignments/notes.
