Presentation transcript:

Preparation for A-level BIOLOGY. Many of the advancements in modern Biology happened as a result of improvements in technology. One of the most important being the invention of the light, and then electron microscope. Write a 800-1000 word essay that compares and contrasts the light and electron microscopes. You should consider: Design Preparation of specimens, including stains and dyes required Magnification and resolution. Types of specimen that can be viewed Advantages and disadvantages General KS5 Biology Resources: www.biologyguide.net www.biologymad.com www.mrothery.co.uk https://wellcomecollection.org/explore
