Research Update Next CHC Landmark Research Project Energy Roadmap for the Connected Home: This research would address the challenges and opportunities surrounding the need for more energy efficient homes. Topics that may be covered, include: renewables, battery storage including EVs, role of IoT devices, micro & nano-grids, efficient technologies and solutions, the role of utilities & energy pricing, integration, energy policy, funding and incentives, energy management systems, smart grid and alternative sources of energy etc. www.caba.org/research Tentative Timeline: Early Dec: Close of RFP Mid/End Dec: Selection of Research Firm
