What is AR? Accelerated Reader is a computer program that allows teachers to monitor each student’s independent reading level. Students take an assessment and based on the results, they are given a reading level. As students read books on their level, they take quizzes to assess their understanding. The more reading and quizzing students do the more they can improve their independent reading level. Check if a book is AR on www.arbookfind.com
