Unit Election Rate Why is Unit Election Rate important? BSA and OA membership continues to decline Units without OA elections are a huge source of OA membership Important to the future of the Order of the Arrow!

2013 – 2016 OA Membership 9.1% decline in total membership 2013-2016. 9.9% decline in youth OA membership 2013-2016.

Why measure Unit Election Rate? Goal: To provide every eligible First Class Scout* the opportunity to be elected to the OA by his peers * First Class and above
