Learning Map for Blue Class: Spring 2016 Brit Awards! Please encourage your child to read each day Learning Map for Blue Class: Spring 2016 Brit Awards! Can I plan and create my own story? Children to sequence plan and write a traditional story like ‘jack and the beanstalk’, describing the characters within it and using a writing checklist. Can I create an debug simple programs? Can I organise, store and manipulate digital content? Can I write an information text? Children to write an information text about famous British people. Developing throwing and catching skills and leaping over obstacles. Can I use a dictionary? Children to learn how to locate words and use a dictionary for information purposes. Home Learning set on Tuesdays and due back the following Mondays English Brit awards themed phonics and Grammar. PE ICT Blue Class Brit Awards Can I describe the basic needs of animals? Understanding how humans and animals survive and fulfil their needs. Art Can I design and evaluate well know British artowrk? Science Geography Understanding how animals have offspring that grows into adults . Music PSHCE Can I compare and understand various animals? RE Where are different people located? Can I learn songs throughout British history and explore different moods in music? Maths Can I solve problems? Solving addition, subtraction, division and multiplication problems. Going for goals. Understanding their goals and aspirations. History Can I describe what life was like for famous people throughout history? Can I estimate, compare and measure? Choosing how to measure items and reading, comparing and estimating measurements using a scale. Selecting appropriate measurement tools. Can I tell the time to every 5 minutes? Children to read the time on a clock, solve time problems and order intervals of time. Can I learn about the key points of the Easter celebration. Learning about Easter in church. Can understand the importance of Lent and Ash Wednesday? Can I explore the famous people in the past? Researching changes in national life. Understanding national achievements of local people. Can Irecognise, write and name fractions? Children to find fractions of shapes and numbers and to record them accurately.
