PLANTS Plants need air, water and sun to grow. They start from a seed. They make their own food and drink. Plants start with just leafs and a stem. Plants go brown and the leafs fall of. If Plants don’t have air, water or sun they will die. PLANTS petals trumpet Some plants produce fruit and some don’t. leafs stem bulb roots The roots are for sucking up water in the soil. The leaves catch water from the sky. The stem is for holding up the flower. The bulb starts as a seed and grows into a flower. The petals are for attracting bees. To make a Plant grow you need wet soil, then you make a hole and put the seed in and patch it up in soil. Then give it water. Then in a few weeks the Plant will start to grow. 4 1
