What did Irish Nationalists want?

What did Irish Nationalists want? They wanted a united Ireland which was totally independent from Britain. They also wanted to revive traditional Irish culture and sport e.g. Gaelic literature, music, the Gaelic League which promoted the Gaelic language and the Gaelic Athletic Association which promoted Gaelic football and hurling. Only 15% of Irish people could speak Gaelic in 1909, so doing things like translating English names into Gaelic was a Nationalistic action to show love for all things Irish.

What did Irish Nationalists want? What was the Ulster Unionist Party?

The Ulster Unionist Party was formed in order to politically oppose Home Rule. The First Bill was defeated in Parliament.

What did Irish Nationalists want? What was the Ulster Unionist Party? How was Sinn Fein different from the Irish Parliamentary Party? The majority of Nationalists supported the I.P.P, however, some people were not happy with how limited the Home Rule Bill was. Arthur Griffith set up Sinn Fein (Ourselves Alone). Their policies were that Irish MPs would not sit in Westminster and that there would be a separate Irish Parliament.
