EYFS curriculum 3 Prime Areas: From 0-5 years Focuses on developmental stages 3 Prime Areas: PERSONAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT As children grow, the prime areas will help them to develop skills in 4 specific areas: LITERACY MATHS UNDERSTANDING THE WORLD EXPRESSIVE ARTS AND DESIGNING All children have access to all areas of learning everyday through adult directed or purposeful play activities.
