Mr. Sieckowski’s Rules and Regulations Science is cool, but you gotta be safe!

Here’s the Key to Success in Science Lab: Follow the Lab Rules Follow the Lab Scoring Plan

Lab Rules These rules are to be taken seriously. They could make a difference in you being safe and the safety of others !

Be Responsible

Look at me. Listen for instructions. Follow all written and verbal instructions carefully. When you hear my voice – STOP ! Look at me. Listen for instructions.

When you come in the lab . . . DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOUR BOOKS, UNLESS YOU HAVE PERMISSION !

Remember- No food in the lab area !!

No Horseplay.

Keep it clean !!

Watch those safety hazards !! STOP !

Notify Mr. Sieckowski of any unsafe conditions or problems. Mrs. Dellutri, we have a problem.

Trash ? Dispose of Chemicals and items from the lab experiments as instructed by Mr. Sieckowski

When to wear aprons? Aprons are NOT just for cooking ! Make sure you wear them correctly and tie the ends.

Lab Chemicals and Equipment Stay Put ! All supplies must be ready for the next class before you leave!

Use the pans/pails as provided. Be careful when moving chemicals, supplies or equipment around the lab. Use the pans/pails as provided.
