Parking around our school LANGDALE NEWS Issue 3~ April 2017 Parking around our school We have had a number of complaints from residents in and around Earl’s Drive about inconsiderate parking. Please be mindful that we have many neighbours and the relationship between us and them is very important to us. Internet Safety As a school we are often informed about apps and games that are perhaps not as appropriate as they may seem. We have recently been advised to share with parents that ROBLOX a popular gaming app has the potential to allow strangers to communicate with our children. For more information, please see this link shared by a governor below: www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/school-warns-parents-popular-gaming-12781977.amp 1R and 2N are the winners. Come on R2!!! Summer Competition When we come back after the Easter holidays I would like to brighten up the school with some summer art work. The theme is ‘inspiring others.’ We will choose 10 winners from across the school and each winner will have their art work framed and displayed around the school. Please bring your art work in with your name clearly displayed on the back and put it on the main school stage by Friday 28th April. Rules for the Summer Competition 1.Your art work must display some ‘inspirational text’ (see examples on this newsletter) 2. Your art work must be bright and summery 3.It must be your own work!
