Describe what is happening with temperature for each line.

One line starts at 40 degrees and decreases to below room temperature. The other line starts at 5 degrees and increases past room temperature.

The top line could represent the temperature of hot water after ice is added. The bottom line could represent the temperature of ice added to hot water.

What does a horizontal temperature line mean?
