Answer Prove Explain

Answer the Question To answer a question we must clarify what the question asked us to answer. Reword the question into the start of your answer to introduce the topic at hand and your thought. (TS)

Prove with a quote We must prove our thought to be accurate by PROVING it with a quote from the text. Refer to the author and paragraph or stanza number. This is borrowed information and by using quotation marks we show that it is borrowed from the text. (CD)

Explain your proof/thought We have to defend the proof with ORIGINAL thinking explaining what we are thinking. Comment, Discuss, Rationalize & so forth to show the reader your thinking behind the answer. (CM)
