MEDITATIVE DESIGNS

1 STEP 01 Use a pencil to write your name on your paper. You must write large so that your name fills the entire sheet.

2 STEP 02 Choose a colored pencil and color in your name.

3 STEP 03 Choose a colored pencil that contrasts with the color you chose for your name. Now draw lines to divide up the background of your page.

4 STEP 04 Using your own imagination or the design examples in the center of your table draw a unique design in each section of your background.

5 STEP 05 Use different colors to make your designs more interesting.

STEP 06 On the back of your paper tell me a little bit about yourself.

What is your previous experience with art? What is your favorite art activity? (drawing, painting, etc.) List three activities you enjoy doing. Tell me something unique about yourself. Tell me if there is something about you that you think I should know.
