Store’s Name Relation to Brand & Logo Belle Et Petite means “beautiful petites” in Italian. With having a woman’s clothing store focused only on petite size, the name should describe what kind of store it is. I chose to be direct and used the actual word “petite” in the title. This allows women to know what kind of store they are entering. B B P P E E

How Belle Et Petite Should be Perceived Being a petite store, it should represent a place where women can go and have an assortment of clothes to choose from, sizes that cater, and reasonable prices. Belle Et Petite should be known for it’s trendy, vintage looks and being a reliable store that has the basic, go-to-pieces, as well as fashions that are going to set you apart from anyone else.

The Sales Associate -Qualifications ~1-2 years of retail experience ~A hands on learner ~Professional communication skills ~High school diploma or higher (depending upon the position desired) ~Knowledge of counting and handling money -Interaction with visual presentation ~The associates will show that the store represents a sophisticated environment by their appearance. She will also present a respectable, professional approach to customer service.

Psychographics -Attitudes: Very strong willed and independent, has a strong out look on life with a positive attitude -Interest: Keeping up with fashion, shopping, helping out at local events, candle-lit dinners, book club -Behavior: Shops for apparel about twice a month, if needed -Lifestyle: Very organized, on the go, if a mother…being a mother, career and goal oriented

Mission Statement Belle Et Petite is a specialty clothing store, catering to the sophisticated, vintage-minded woman, who is small in size but big in personality. Whereas most clothiers offer limited petite accouterments, Belle Et Petite specializes in smaller sizes, creating a welcoming environment for any female. Located in the heart of Los Angeles garment district of Melrose Ave. Belle Et Petite has centralized itself directly in position to the residential location and social activities of our target market. We believe that this critical to our initial success and long-term growth.

Atmospherics -Colors: Neutrals, mid-tones/earth-tones walls would be cream, with brown, green and pink trim.
