Presentation transcript:

During Lent we spend a lot of time thinking about things we are sorry for and ways in which we should have done in a different way in the past Looking back….

Looking back….. Before Easter, as a form you wrote down things that you were sorry for and put them in a closed box, as a form group take these out again and read through them. Once you have reminded yourself of what you are sorry for, rip the paper up and put it in the bin to symbolise letting go of the past so that you can look forward

Now Easter has passed it is time to look forward to the future and think about what we can do to improve it Moving forward…

Let’s make All Saints awesome! Individually you are going to think about something that you can do to help improve All Saints this could be; Being more eco-friendly Helping other students Handing in your homework on time Respecting each other and your teachers Handing your homework in on time Reporting any bullying to a teacher Giving to charity Supporting the Lourdes team by donating for their walk to Nottingham Let’s make All Saints awesome!

Putting it into action On your strips of paper write down something that you pledge to do to make All Saints Awesome this term. Join your pledges together into a chain and keep this in your form to remind you of what you are going to do!

Let us pray Loving God, each day as I step further into my future, give me the courage, knowledge and patience that I need. Remind me that you always journey with me and that you will never lead me into anything that you won't lead me through. Thank you for the gift of my life. May the way I live be my gift back to you - with your love and guidance Amen
