(1) to increase the student’s understanding of United States history, Course Objectives (1) to increase the student’s understanding of United States history, (2) to have each student take and pass the AP United States History Exam in May, (3) to prepare students for college. The A.P. Exam will be sponsored by the College Board in May. The AP Exam will be sponsored by the College Board in May. Tests (30%) Unit Tests have two parts and are given over two days - Day One Essay: 50% - Day Two Multiple Choice: 50%

Final (30%) Multiple Choice & Essay questions come from previously administered AP Exams.

Participation (10%) Attentiveness in class Active discussion in class Good attendance record Positive contribution to class atmosphere
