Ammonium Sulfate, Ammonium Nitrate and Urea fertilizer in 4 replicates using a trial was set. In this study, plant height, green herbage yield, drug herbage yield, characteristics such as drug leaf yield was investigated. As a result, from 11.96 to 15.8 cm plant height, green herbage yield 1794.0-3725.0kg / da, drug herbage yield from 253.0 to 529.0 kg / ha, drug leaf yield from 89.0 to 372.0 kg / ranged. Key Words: Thyme, Thymbra sintenisii L., nitrogen doses, agronomic characteristics ENTRY Thyme is one of our major export products. Turkey holds around 70% of world trade thyme. In Turkey, "thyme" Although there are many types of aromatic plants Lamiaceae identified as particularly volatile oil containing carvacrol and thymol species 'thyme' as is acceptable. (Bayram, 2003) Thyme, as both spices and a medicine is being used since ancient times and is therefore commonly known as a plant. Several species belonging to the genus Origanum, Thymus, Satureja and Thymbra are used as thyme as they have the characteristic odor of essential oil components such as Thymol and carvacrol (Aydın et al., 1997). Thymbra spicata or Thymbra sintenisii is also called black thyme, “zahter” or spike thyme. Because of phenols contained in essential oils and bacteria that have the effect of a powerful antibiotic against fungi, as aromatize in food products especially in meat products, however, perfume, soap, shampoo, beverages and toothpaste, canned tomato sauce and the making of sausages in a common way it is used (Baytop, 1984; Tüzün, 1986; Kıvanç and Akgül, 1988; Tansı, 1991). Plants belonging to the Labiatae family, demonstrate a very high variation due to environmental and climatic factors they grow. In this study, Düzce conditions of Thymbra sintenisii grown in pots of different nitrogen doses were studied to determine the effect on some agronomic and quality traits. MATERIALS AND METHODS This study established in Düzce University Vocational School Cilimli prepared in pots in the garden and was carried out in 2015-2016. Research material, obtained from a private company lavender thyme (Thymbra sintenisii) have created seeds. In a pot experiment, 1/3 clay soils, 1/3 burnt manure, mixed media prepared with 1/3 peat moss, weeds out the watering and cleaning provided. Sowing took place on 5 September. Randomized block design with three replications pattern. Nitrogen doses, Ammonium Nitrate (NO3) form N0 (0 kg/ha), N3 (3 kg/ha), N6 (6 kg/ha), the N9 (9kg/ha), Ammonium Sulphate form N0 (0 kg/) N3 (3 kg/ha), N6 (6 kg/ha), the N9 (9kg/ha) and urea form N0 (0 kg/ha), N3 (3 kg/ha), N6 (6 kg/ha) N9 (9kg/ha) mixed into the soil before planting almost half, while the other half were given to occasional immediately before the first irrigation. The first results were obtained in the first trial format. Forms, in January 2016, is made of 10 cm in height in the beginning of flowering. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Plant Height (cm) Each parcel of the randomly selected 10 plants, the distance from the tip of the plant from the soil surface were measured and the average was taken. Green Herb Yield (kg/ha) Area harvested per hectare yield over 10 potted plants were taken from the pots. Dried Herb Yield (kg/ha) Harvested green herb yield upside down for a week and then heated to dryness and weighing made was calculated yield per hectare over the harvest field. Dried leaf yield (kg/ha) Dried herb's leaves and dried leaf yield per hectare over the harvest field was calculated by weighing the distinction made of the stem. As a result, plant height from 11.96 to 15.8 cm, green herbage yield 1794.0-3725.0kg/da, dried herb yield from 253.0 to 529.0 kg/ha, 89.0 to 372 dried leaf yield, 0 kg/ranged. When the nitrogen dose of 9 kg/ha increased up green herb, dried herb and dried leaf nitrogen content, despite a slight increase in yield occur 9kg/da when yield was determined to be seen in the decline. Trial of applying the spike in field conditions, known as thyme Thymbra sintenisii compatibility in terms of agronomic traits varieties should be identified and a decision can not be made in the production.
