OIL BOOM MATH

There are 7 oil wells producing oil in a field in East Texas There are 7 oil wells producing oil in a field in East Texas. Each well is producing 92.5 barrels of oil. How many barrels of oil all together are the 7 wells producing?

Answer: 647.5 barrels of oil

Mrs. Smith is willing to spend $3. 12 per barrel of oil. Mr Mrs. Smith is willing to spend $3.12 per barrel of oil. Mr. Jim is selling 4 at that price. How much will Mrs. Smith be spending?

Answer: $12.48 for the barrels

Bobby works on 2 oil wells that are each 187. 3 feet deep Bobby works on 2 oil wells that are each 187.3 feet deep. How deep are the 2 wells together?

Answer: 374.6 feet deep
