This is a bad slide This slide is bad because the there are too many words in it. There are many lines with a small font that make it difficult to read. It is impossible to read and listen to the speaker at the same time. The contrast of colors is low thus reading the text is difficult. There are no pictures so the slide is boring (it is like a laundry list instead of telling a story).

Use pictures – not text To build a face subspace: Take multiple face images Vectorize each image by reshaping the matrix into a vector Put all vectors into a matrix Use PCA to find the spanning subspace
