Planning Meeting I Quick review of meeting events. Overview of the entire planning process of developing a plan inclusive of three school committee meetings, revisions and their purpose as well as the Presentation and final approval. We discussed what Title I is and is not. Each Principal shared their school data including strengths and weaknesses. Members asked questions about variances in programs, expectations and student performance between schools. A summary of the Comprehensive Needs Assessment was shared.

Planning Meeting II Quick review of Meeting II minutes Review of what Title I is and is not (difference in supplementing & supplanting) Staff & Parent surveys expressed desire for additional technology PD and different types of parent communication for example. Discrepancies & Suggestions for clarifying and expanding the staff survey were taken. Questions about spending considerations such as personnel, program effectiveness, summer school and summer PD were discussed.

Overview SMALL GROUP: Principals will facilitate group discussions about prospective suggestions by level. SMALL GROUP: Only suggestions that are researched based and correlate to Legacy Charter Needs Assessment, and Parent & Staff Survey results should be posted. WHOLE GROUP: Posts will be shared whole group. Questions are invited.

Group Brainstorming Objectives: Discuss previous product or service ideas Generate fresh ideas (research & data based) Prioritize! Decide who will post each suggestion.

OUR NEXT STEPS Legacy Charter Leadership Team will vote on top priorities, consolidate & check requirements and restrictions.(Research & Data) 2016-2017 Title I Plan will be presented to Greenville County for approval in Spring 2016. Funding is contingent on approval as well as 135th Day Student Count Adjustments will be made according to final funding calculations
