Justice is the prominent feature of a civilized and organized society Justice is the prominent feature of a civilized and organized society. Justice is a complex concept which touches almost every aspect of human life. The word ‘Justice’ was derived from the latin word ‘Jus’ meaning ‘joining’ or ‘bonding’. The concept of Justice has been defined in human history in many different ways. Sometimes it has been given the name of ‘God’s Will’ and at the other times ‘the result of our past actions’, and so on.

Definition Aristotle gave the concept of ‘Distributive Justice’ which meant “distribution of rights and offices by the State according to individual capabilities.” Barker, “Justice is an order of persons and an order of the principles regulating the distribution of rights to persons which is measured and determined by a final and ultimate value.”

Relation between Liberty , Equality and Justice LIBERTY and JUSTICE- Justice has a direct relation with liberty. In modern States, several liberties have been given granted to citizens. But at the same time, these liberties are restricted keeping in view the interests of society and the country. EQUALITY and JUSTICE- Equality and Justice too are closely linked. As Aristotle puts it, “Justice is equality because all accept this without logic.” the concept of equality was born with justice in view
