UHL 4042 (PROJECT BASED PROPOSAL WRITING PROBLEM STATEMENT BACKGROUND Helgesen, (1990) leadership styles of women and men are different. Caliper (2005) Women leaders are more assertive and persuasive. Negative impression about women leader – many employee assume that women not effective as men leader. Do women and men lead differently? QUALITY OF WOMEN LEADER RESEARCH OBJECTIVE RESEARCH QUESTIONS THE DIFFERENCES IN THE LEADERSHIP STYLE OF WOMEN AND MEN LEADERS. 2. THE IMPACT OF WOMEN LEADERSHIP STYLE ON ORGANIZATION PERFORMANCE Is there a difference in the transactional leader style between men and women leadder? Is there a difference transformational leader style between women and men lead? How do women leader give an improvement to organization? What type of improvement are made by women leader? SIGNIFICANT OF THE STUDY Men leader will practic a good leadership style that women leader have. The unique style of leader will effect the workers performance.

Something good : give reward Something wrong : give punishment Men leaders always practice this style. valuable and positive change in the followers with the end goal of developing followers into leaders: - Leaders motivate followers to work for goals that go beyond self-interest. E.g.: women like share power and as a good listener. ORGANIZATION PERFORMANCE 1.Control - Workers behavior, abseteiseem 2.Satisfaction -workers will satisfied because they can voice their problems and change a worker value.

UHL 4042 (PROJECT BASED PROPOSAL WRITING METHODOLOGY RESEARCH SITE PARTICIPANT 6 leaders of HR department : 3 men and 3 women 24 workers : Staff officer and team members. Small and medium company - DATA COLLECTION Observation: More reliable and free from respondent bias (sekaran,2001) Surveys questionnaire: To get the best anwer based on their reality life and opinion about the topic. Eagly & Carli (2001)

UHL 4042 (PROJECT BASED PROPOSAL WRITING CONCLUSION Women whos dominant in the workplaces because they have own style such as like to motivated people, good listerner and very patient. Both style need for each leader – depend on the situation.
