Sein ( to be) Conjugated There are two forms of a verb, Plural and Singular. Singular form is talking about an individual. Plural form is talking about a group as a whole.

Singular Plural If you are a visual learner, the picture to the left shows Singular Form. The picture to the right shows Plural Form.
