Grade Point Average (GPA) Your grade point average or GPA is the average, on a scale of 0 – 4 of the grades you have received in each marking period, midterm and final exam. It accumulates over 4 years. Unweighted GPA combines grades you earn in any class. Weighted GPA combines grades earned in all classes and includes the bonus quality point for taking a more rigorous class. Honors – 0.5 bonus quality point AP – 1 bonus quality point
