Adjective Agreement (Sing.) To describe one person or thing, use ES + a singular adjective. Ejemplo: El libro es bueno. (The book is good.) La clase es buena. (The class is good.)
Adjective Agreement (Plural) To describe more than one person or thing, use SON + a plural adjective. Ejemplo: Los libros son buenos. (The books are good.) Las clases son buenas. (The classes are good.)
Adjective Agreement (Mixed Genders) If you’re describing a group of males and females, use a masculine plural adjective. Ejemplo: Mis compañeros son simpáticos. (My classmates are nice.)
Adjective Agreement (Consonants) Adjectives ending in –e or a consonant as l, r, or n have two forms: singular and plural. To make them plural add –s or –es. Ejemplos: El libro es interesante. Los libros son interesantes. La clase es difícil. Las clases son difíciles.
