Brief Programme CZ11 Overview Programme area 27: Public Health Initiatives Programme CZ11 Public Health Initiatives Allocation: 19 180 000 EUR The global target of the Programme is „Improving population health and reducing inequalities in access to the health care“ Activity I.: Psychiatric care Activity II. : Health care for children 3 Pre-defined projects, 26 projects (open calls), 62 sub-projects (small grant scheme)

Fund for Bilateral Relations at National Level Proposal of focus area 2016 Psychiatric care reform - international expert conference Prevention of mental illness – expert workshop E-health – electronisation of health sector – expert workshop All activities will be organized in co-operation with the Norwegian Partner – NIPH (suggest organizations, experts, topics of meetings)

Activity I.: Psychiatric care - Conference International Conference on Psychiatric Care Reform international expert conference (ongoing reform in the Czech Republic and experiences from other countries) Sharing experiences with community-type care for the seriously mentally ill (SMI) in so called Mental Health Center Benefits for the patient, improving the quality of life (its measurement) possible risks

Activity I.: Psychiatric care Target audience: Czech Republic: Czech Psychiatric Association, National Institute of Mental Health, public officers (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports), regional representatives, representatives of care providers, care users (patient organizations), general public Norway: academics, government officials, service providers, NGOs International audience

Activity II.: Psychiatric care - Workshop Expert Workshop on Prevention of mental illness Target audience: Czech Republic: Czech Psychiatric Association, National Institute of Mental Health, public officers (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports), regional representatives, representatives of care providers, care users (patient organizations), general public Norway: academics, government officials, service providers, NGOs

Activity III.: E-health – Electronisation of Health Sector Workshop E-health - the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) for health Provides: Interaction between patients and health providers Communication between health care professionals, medical facilities and patients Electonisation includes specialized information systems, electronization of health records and health care, telemedicine, personal, portable and mobile communication systems for monitoring and staff support

Context with the Programme CZ11 E-Health is not a part of the activities supported by Programme CZ11 Given the importance of the issue and present solutions from the most European countries it was decided to include this topic Electronisation in the Czech Republic is a part of the National eHealth Strategy on health promotion and disease prevention: The Action Plan no. 11 Electronisation of Health

Activity III.: E-health – Electronisation of Health Sector Workshop Expert workshop on electronisation of health sector Workshop on conclusions of the „Recommendations for the strategy of eHealth for the Czech Republic „ Possible participants: Czech Republic: representatives of Ministry of Health, Czech Medical Society, Platform for e-health and other stakeholders Norway: WHO Experts from the collaborating Centre for Telemedicine and eHealth, the Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine (NST) at Universitetssykehuset Nord- Norge (UNN, Tromsø).
